SGTi, an IT company based locally here in central NJ contacted us in regard to designing and furnishing their new office space.  They wanted their new space to be bright and inviting, requesting orange panels to match the walls and company logo.  It was imperative to maximize employee capacity in the main room, as they needed to accommodate 12 employees there.  Five private offices along the perimeter needed desks with returns to provide ample workspace and storage for its occupants.  The president of the company has the corner office.  It was agreed upon that his office should stand out from the rest.

We chose Columbian walnut laminate for the work surfaces in the cubicles as well as for the furniture in the private offices because it contrasted with the bright orange walls and panels so well.  We suggested having the frosted glass on the top portion of the panels & chrome handles on all the drawers and cabinets in order to create a modern tech look for this IT/Technology based company.  The private offices were furnished with Hon’s 10500 series desks and returns.  We used the upgraded 10700 series furniture for the president’s office to give it some extra flair.  He received an entire U set-up, which includes the desk, bridge & credenza.  Along with that we added a stack-on unit, lateral file & wardrobe for additional storage.
